Iran Isarel tensions keep haunting the middle east

Israel is preparing for a serious military retaliation against Iran in response to an Iranian missile strike that targeted key Israeli bases. The response would come as violence escalates, particularly in the week marking the anniversary of the October 7, 2023, Hamas attack that triggered the current conflict. Strikes by Hezbollah from Lebanon and retaliatory actions by Israel have mounted, with Israeli ground forces conducting operations in southern Lebanon. All this factor into the increased tension in the region, reported missing and presumed dead leading Hezbollah figure Hashem Safieddine in the case of Israeli airstrikes.
