Art is a form of rebellion. It has always been a friend of the common man. One of the reasons for this is that historically, literature and education were reserved for elite men and the upper class. Art was the only message they understood without any prior qualification. A woman, a child, a farmer, a slave, everyone could interpret art. Art needed a soul, not a degree.

Upon examination, this still holds today. The world has few people with unlimited money and resources, while the masses starve. Art, music, and love are the only things that the rich cannot buy from you. Your power is what you feel. When you give up that power and use a machine, the elites win. Your soul is the only one up you have on the wealthy elites. So, don’t lose it. Make shit Art.
